Swimming Lesson

The boy's 1st swimming lessons were on Saturday.  Because Jameson still had a fever, he missed his first day.  Jackson had a blast!

This is his friend Natalie from "big kids school"  they are in the same class.

The parents HAVE to stay up in the bleachers...so pictures are going to be difficult to get.  I will also warn anyone who plans on attending that it is HOTTER than BLAZES so you may want to dress 'cool'.

They had buckets and they were trying to "throw" water into the buckets.  Jackson is to the left of the girl that is sticking her butt out and has his hands down in the water. 

They were supposed to be working on "big arms" but it looked more like crawling to me.  Jackson is right behind the little boy in the red shorts (you can see his face).

As SOON as he got out of the pool he said "MOM, where's snack."  I didn't have any snacks so we stopped at McDonalds for a fruit and walnut salad.  HAHA!  I guess I need to start keeping snacks in the swim bag.

Overall, it was a lot of fun for him.  There are a TON of kids in the Saturday 10am class.  They break them into ages/proficiency groups.  They said that mid semester they would present the parents with a progress report, in order for him to "pass" this class and move on to the next class he has to be able to do specific things.  Just based on what this past weekend was, he'll pass with flying colors. 

We DO have lessons this weekend (3/20) but no lessons on (3/27). 

Jameson's lessons start at 9:20 and Jackson's start at 10:00.  Feel free to come if you'd like.
